We present a self-contained formulation of the Nonlinear Schrödinger hierarchy and its Yangian symmetry in terms of deformed oscilator algebra (Z.F. algebra). The link between Yangian Y (glN ) and finite W (glpN , N.glp) algebras is also illustrated in this framework.
